Our Story

Learn About Sapelo Strong

Sapelo Strong was born out of tragedy, but it thrives on the strength, resilience, and unity of the Sapelo Island community. In response to the devastating events at Marsh Landing, we came together to form a coalition of local organizations committed to providing immediate relief and long-term recovery. Our mission is to support the families impacted, preserve the Gullah Geechee culture, and help rebuild our beloved island.
